A full year!

Today marks a full year since Antosia’s first surgery in the United States. We don’t know where the time has gone. It was a year filled with extreme emotions, which we have already written about many times. But now, we no longer remember the bad ones. Of course, we have them tucked away somewhere in the recesses of our memory. They cannot be completely erased, but we are trying to move on to a normal life and show such a life to Antosia.

Every day we discover that there are no barriers for Antosia. Sometimes she needs more time to master certain skills, but she always clears the bar. And the most important thing for us is that she sets new goals for herself. Sometimes I realize that it is we, the adults around her, who limit her more than Antosia’s disability does. I wish that one day it would be clear to everyone that nothing is impossible. You just have to want it and find the right way to achieve your goal.

We are glad that on the occasion of this anniversary, a TV report about Antosia and her struggles during this treatment was broadcast. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to this success, even in the smallest way!
