A magical time...

It was a magical, unique time… a time just for us. Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year. It is a time that brings hope, faith, and strength.

These were the happiest holidays I can remember – spent as a family of three.

We hope that next year, at this time, we will be just as happy after a successful surgery – the reconstruction of her ankle joints and straightening of her tibias.

We will be eagerly awaiting Antosia’s first step.

And after Christmas, the gray reality. Antosia was prescribed antibiotics for 7 days. Antosia’s mom caught the infection too.

For two days and two nights, Grandma Halinka bravely helped battle Antosia’s illness, for which we are truly grateful.

Tonight is Dad’s turn. After all, he has to take care of “his girls” :).
