Antosia's strength in language.
Antosia’s treatment and the USA… 13 years ago, as parents, in the context of Antosia’s disability, we made a promise to ourselves: that we would always try to notice something good. Even when it is hard.
A sometimes… it gets really hard. But life likes to leave little lights along the way — and Antosia is much better at noticing them than we are.
One of those lights turned out to be the English language. Not just as a school subject, but as a tool for independence, courage, and connecting with the world.
Today, the results of the Cambridge exam arrived, for which Antosia has been systematically preparing over the last few months. Grade A. C1 level. 13 years old. 👏🥹
We look at Antosia and we see more than just a result. We see hours of studying between medical tests, conversations with people from all over the world, determination, and the joy of being able to do more — even though in many areas, especially physical ones, she can do less and less. Antosia, you are ending this year beautifully! Teraz czas na odpoczynek, oddech, święta i marzenia — bo w przyszłym roku tak wiele przed Tobą. ♥
