Dreams
It never even crossed my mind that one day I would be running a blog for my daughter. As you can see, life writes its own scripts, and we can never be sure of anything. It bluntly puts our plans and dreams to the test, and we have absolutely no control over it.
I think you will agree with me that we happen to live in somewhat crazy times… I found out myself that if you want to organize a wedding on a Saturday, as tradition dictates, you have to start planning it about 2 years in advance. Apparently, to get into a public kindergarten, parents sign up for the waiting list even before their children are born, or in an act of desperation, they get divorced because children of single mothers have priority. I hope I will never have to experience this firsthand. We are not lining up just yet. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
Somewhere in all this hustle and bustle, I think we all start expecting too much from life. Always just waiting and waiting, reaching one goal after another. Where is the time for actual living in all of this? Antosia, although she hasn’t been in this world for long, has taught me to enjoy every moment.
And now, instead of a whole pile of unnecessary dreams, I have only one. I know it will come true. I want Antosia to walk…
