Getting closer...
23 days until departure, 28 until surgery… time is starting to fly faster and faster. We waited so long, we were so happy that there was a chance, a light at the end of the tunnel that could allow our Antosia to walk. And now?
Now, as time slips away faster with each passing day, so many question marks and fears are starting to emerge… A new environment, far from home, family, and friends… What if something goes wrong? Will it go smoothly without complications? How will Antosia handle the pain? Will we be able to help her somehow?
On the other hand, it hasn’t been easy for us since Antosia was born… and yet, we are slowly managing to overcome all adversities.. I think the key to overcoming all these difficulties is being TOGETHER. We will also “go through” our daughter’s surgeries and treatment together. Together, we will wait for Antosia’s long-awaited first independent step.
For the first, most difficult month, Antosia’s uncle – Seweryn – will also be with us. Thank you so much for being with us from the very beginning and for always putting Antosia’s treatment first, despite your own affairs and responsibilities.
Keep your fingers crossed!
