Thoughts over breakfast...
I don’t understand why little children have to face such an uphill battle in life. Why can’t everyone start on a relatively level playing field? It’s a bit like tying a ball and chain to only one sprinter’s leg before the race begins. It might happen that the one with the ball and chain wins the race, but how much more difficult is that challenge for them?
But actually, that’s not what I wanted to write about. It is incredible to us how our little one can open the hearts of so many different people, often completely unknown to us until now. Sometimes I feel that Antosia “allows” others to do good things, making them better people in the process. When we receive updates or summaries of an initiative for Antosia, the news usually reaches us with an indescribable amount of positive energy. There is a certain excitement about how many people were involved in the initiative, that something wonderful was achieved for Antosia, but also to the benefit of a larger or smaller community. These emotions are priceless to us. They are what fuel us to keep going. Thanks!
We want to encourage you to try and give something of yourselves to others sometimes, completely selflessly. I am not talking about Antosia here. Just to someone close to you. Because I am sure that by doing so, you will feel better yourselves.
